Travian Crop Calculator

Travian Crop Calculator

Travian Crop Calculator
http://www.travian-food.com/en/

This tool helps you to manage crop state and arrivals into your villages.

Very simple to use, all you need is copy all marketplace page on Travian, paste it in the text box and click submit. It calculates state of crop in granary in the time when deliveries arrive, if no merchants arrives, tool has nothing to calculate. You can also see quantity of crop, name of the player and village from which he sends that crop. Calculator is tested and working on 37 different languages, automatic language detection, based on text you paste it in the box.

When crop consumption is much higher then production it's very hard to manage crop arrivals and be sure that your army wouldn't starve. That problem is most appreciable with the WW village.
Some people use illegal script to deal with this problem. Unlike scripts, Travian Crop Calculator is legal, doesn't have access to your travian account, it doesn't require login or password, or any kind of registration, just copy of marketplace. Works on Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Google Chrome, and it's faster then similar programs because of it's simplicity.

Release of the Travian Movie!

Release of the Travian Movie!

Dear Travian Players,

With the launch of Travian 4 in the last couple of weeks we are happy to announce our latest project. Over the last two years we have been quietly creating a new film based on Travian with unique characters, a brilliant and what we consider is some of the animation and best music for an animated film. We currently plan on releasing the movie in late October 2011 for a European launch followed by an early November launch in North America and a limited release in China.

Quote:
Three Gallic triplet brothers who were separated at quite an early age, the first was abducted when he was only 5 years old by a large Teuton raiding party. The second could not bear to be without his younger brother and left when he was 9 to join a Roman military academy and was trained there in the arts of strategic warfare. The final brother stayed in his village and was chosen for the Gallic cavalry because of his great ability with horses.

The group are reunited when a new force invades Europe, the enemies of the past are forced to united and work together to take on this new foe, the Natars. A meeting is held with all the leaders of the three civilizations and it quickly becomes apparent that each of the brothers have risen through the ranks of their tribes because of their intelligence and brutality and are now famed Generals and Warlords in their tribe.

Can the three brothers do what it takes to save their whole worlds from a merciless attacker?
Please find attached our formal press release about the movie.

[Guide] Guide for Multiple Waved Attacks

[Guide] Guide for Multiple Waved Attacks

Guide to sending Multiple Waved Attacks

Many new players are shocked when they see multiple attacks landing on them at the same second. They will many times call this "scripting" and say it's a bot. However, in most cases it isn't, and is actually just a player using one of the methods to send multiple waves. In this guide I will go over the 3 methods:

Multiple Windows
Multiple Tabs and Ctrl + Tab
Multiple Tabs and Offline Browsing

All 3 methods start out the same:

1. Select the village you want to attack:

Then from here you can either:

1. Ctrl + W to open multiple windows
or
2. Ctrl + T to open multiple tabs

Personally I prefer the tab methods. They are not only faster to set up but easier to set up. They also allow you to send more waves quicker in my opinion. So I'm not going to really put much effort into showing pictures for that. The only difference between tabs and waves is with tabs you just make the tabs, set up the attacks, and send. Using windows you need to make the windows, set up the attacks, then make the screen small so only the "OK" button shows and put them all next to one another so you can move from left to right in rapid succession to send the waves.

So instead I'm going to continue to give the basic steps for the 2 Tab methods:

2. Once you have chosen the village you are sending to and have opened enough tabs equivalent to how many waves you want to send. Then set up the attacks like normal in every tab and click "OK":

Note: When setting up waves keep in mind that you can only send as many troops as you actually have. So when you have, for example, 10,000 imperians, 2500 EC, 500 rams, and 1000 catas, you would probably send a small escort with each cata wave. Say you're hitting a capital and are putting 250 catas per wave. That means you will have 4 waves. I normally send 50-100 infantry as escorts, so your waves, in my example here, will look like this:

Wave 1: 9850 imperians, 2500 EC, 500 rams, 250 catas
Wave 2: 50 imperians, 250 catas
Wave 3: 50 imperians, 250 catas
Wave 4: 50 imperians, 250 catas

Sometimes when using the Tab methods you will click extremely fast and so you may have random troops being sent out by mistake. Why? This is because from clicking so fast the server sometimes registers 1 tab as 2 clicks because you as a person is just trying to cycle through the tabs as fast as possible and hit "OK" as many times as possible to send your waves close together. Make sure that if this happens to call those lone troops back - you wouldn't want 50 imperians randomly dying or some stray catas being sent out due to such a mistake.

Now, for the next steps after setting up your waves:

3a. If you are using the Ctrl + Tab method, then once your attacks are set up use Ctrl + Tab and click "OK" as fast as possible to get your troops sent out in as close of waves as possible.

3b. If you are using the Offline Browsing Tab method, then on the confirm screen, open the file menu and select "Work Offline":

4. Click "OK" on all tabs once again and you will get this error:

5. Go back to "File" and uncheck "Work Offline" to connect Firefox to the internet again:

6. Right-click on the TAB bar and select "reload all tabs":

7. You will get this error; just hold down enter on your keyboard:

8. All your attacks within one second:

Yes, that is 21 attacks per second. It's my personal record when using the Offline Browsing method.

Hope this guide will help all players become a better player by teaching them the methods for sending multiple waves.

Edit on July 19th, 2009:

I would like to add this video, made by my friend 6eccmeptho:
http://img190.imageshack.us/i/wavescapture.mp4/

It's only 10 waves/second, but can give you somewhat of an idea. He's done 25 waves/second before but that was a 1 time thing, just like my 21 waves. As sometimes your internet spikes and actually works very well once in a while, so it's not a constant thing. He's also a better player than me, so just throwing that out there (he made me say that). ^^

Edit on July 20th, 2009:

To answer any questions about why some people cannot do the offline method well while others can:

There is a multitude of possible problems. Sometimes, as I've said above, it's connectivity issues. But other times it's the operating system where the OS is simply slow. It could also be a network card buffer size difference - in this case it will show a page saying "page cannot be displayed." Also, if the connection route to the server is long the requests will not arrive at same time, so you might have 4 waves 1 second, 10 another, 5 another, etc. There are many other reasons, and I do not know all reasons personally. But simply put, everyone's wave sending will be different when you use the offline method because everyone has a different connection, computer, etc. So you may only be able do to 3 waves per second while another can do 21 per second. Doesn't mean either of you are better players of cheaters, but simply you have different computer and internet set ups.

I hope that will answer all questions and finalize this guide.

[Information] All Servers: Medals explained!

[Information] All Servers: Medals explained!

MEDALS ON TRAVIAN
What are medals? With the implementation of T3.1, Travian introduced player and alliance medals onto the servers. These are awarded each week to players who manage to appear and stay in the Top10 from Monday-Sunday.

The Top10s are reset weekly on Monday at 0:00am.

How can I obtain one?Currently there are 4 different categories of medal and some special medals:
  • Highest Climbers Medals
  • Best Attackers Medals
  • Best Defenders Medals
  • Best Raiders Medals
  • Bonus Medals
  • Limited Edition Medals
  • Medals for Alliances
and not yet released:
  • Best Traders Medals
  • Medals for Heroes

To earn a medal, you must be the best in one section that week.

Highest ClimberThese medals are awarded for players who climb the most ranks in population. For the majority of the server, these are awarded to newly registered players who can jump from 21000 to 3000 in a matter of days, giving them a lead of 18000 climbed positions. However once registration is closed for a server (during and after Artefact release), the medals are easier to claim by existing players increasing ranks by conquers and smaller population gain. Often referred to as the 'Simmer Medal', it isn't held in very high regard.

Best Attacker
These medals are awarded to players who have killed the most troops; it is calculated per wheat consumption, not per unit total. So a player who kills 200 druidriders, will have a total of 400 kills, as the 200 druids ate a total of 400 wheat. The kills can be accumulated through raids, attacks, conquer attempts, oasis captures and even attacking yourself. Your hero does not need to be present for the kills to count. If you look below, there is a possible Hero's Medal to be introduced in a later version of Travian that will encourage players to use the accompanying unit more often and earn medals purely for doing so.

Best Defender
These medals are awarded to players who have killed the most enemy troops while defending their empire. It is calculated based on how many troops have died at your own villages and oases, not how many troops your own defence has killed elsewhere. Kills are calculated the same way as the Attackers Medal; by wheat consumption of the unit rather than unit number. Your hero does not need to be present for the kills to count. Troops which die at the hand of your Wall or Residence are included. But troops caught in your traps are prisoners, not dead, and will not have any effect on the total.

Best Raider
These medals are awarded to players based on the cumulative resource total they are able to raid in 7 days. If the player is raided themselves and loses resources to another player, this is deducted from the cumulative total of resources gained. Players who view Top10 can see a negative number next to their name if they have failed to earn back the resources stolen from them. This plays a large part in the Alliance Raiders Medal; also calculated cumulatively between all members of that alliance, if a member is repeatedly farmed, it is deducted from the alliance total.

Bonus MedalsThese medals are awarded for combination bonuses, when a player manages to be a top attacker and defender in the same week. They are not awarded to a player who owns an attacker and defender medal from different weeks.

Limited Edition MedalsThese medals were issued to players who turned up to the Travian Meet in Hammelburg, Germany in 2009. The meet-up was arranged by the staff at .COM and publicized on their forum as an open invite event. There is a photo album documenting this meet which can be found here: [link]. The medals cannot be earned or awarded to anyone who did not attend this event.

Medals for AlliancesHere are the images used for alliance medals, exactly the same as player medals but with the added olive branches. Olive crowns symbolize a token of victory and are most commonly seen used in the Olympics. Only positions 1st - 10th are available to alliances, it is not possible for alliances to earn medals for being in the Top10 multiple times or achieving attack and defence in the same week.

How to put medals into your profileIf you are successful in winning a medal, you will not be notified by Travian in-game. To find out if you have earned any, you must go to »Edit Profile. Below, there will be a table which lists the name of your medal, the position you came, the week it happened, and a code to write into your profile. Travian introduced "Quest 13: Dove of Peace" to help players understand where to find codes and how to make them appear, so from now on any new medals and codes will be displayed under [#0]. Each code is specific to you and your account; you cannot display a medal twice, and you cannot display another person's medal.

MEDALS NOT YET RELEASED
Best Trader
These medals are yet to be released in any available version of Travian, so we don't know how they are achieved yet. This set is aimed Traders, possibly awarded for overall trades on the marketplace or cumulative profit per trade. For example, if you trade 500 wheat and receive 1000 iron, you are awarded 500 points.

Medals for Heroes
These medals are yet to be released in any available version of Travian, so we don't know how they are achieved yet. This set is aimed at Heroes, possibly awarded to the amount of hit points gained in a week through defence and attacking combined (similar to Attacker/Defender medals), or the amount of levels increased (similar to Highest Climber medals). T3.1 saw the beginning of publicized Hero Ranks which can be accessed and viewed via the Statistics tab in-game.

Hero & Adventure Questions

Why are there no more adventures in my list?
Adventures appear semi-randomly throughout the day on all T4 servers and are unique to you however you will only receive a certain number of adventures based on how long your account has been active.

At activation you get 3 adventures. After this you will receive: (Brackets are speed servers)

Day 1 - 3: 3 adventures each day (3 adventures every 8 hours)
Day 4 - 7: 2 adventures each day (2 adventures every 8 hours)
Day 8 - 21: 1.2 adventures each day (1.2 adventures every 8 hours)
Day 22 - end of server: 0.6 adventures each day (0.6 adventures every 8 hours)

Why do I sometimes get nothing on adventures?

After the first 10 adventures your rewards for going on adventures are completely random so you could be lucky and receive 10 helmets in a row but other times you will receive nothing. This isn't a bug in the game, it's just a way of adding risk to the adventures system.

What will I get in my first 10 adventures?
On all your adventures you will receive both hero health damage and experience but on top of this in the first 10 adventures you will definitely receive:

1x Nothing
1x A Horse
2x Resources
2x Silver
1x Troops (3 units to be exact)
1x A number of cages
1x Book of wisdom
1x A number of ointments

Why is my hero dying or taking loads of damage?

A key factor in deciding how much damage a hero takes in adventures is the strength of your hero, the higher your strength the less damage your hero will take during adventures. Also as time goes by the adventures will get progressively harder and that's why you need to increase the strength of your hero as the server continues, this can be done by adding your trait points to the fighting option or by equipping items which provide a strength boost.

What's the difference between a hard & normal adventure?

There are two main differences between hard and normal adventures, first of all hard adventures will provide you with roughly double the experience of a normal adventures and secondly the damage will be significantly higher. Will try and compare some reports to find out roughly how much higher.

Don't I need a Heroes Mansion to have a hero?

No you don't, in Travian 4 the only purpose of a heroes mansion is to allow you to capture oasis, it is no longer need if you wish to have a hero.

Have Oasis Changed in T4?

In Travian 4 there has been quite a significant change in that oasis can now hold up to 4000 in resources rather than the previous 1600 limit. In the grey zone of the map there are now 50% oasis for iron, clay & wood. However you still need a level 10, then a level 15 and then a level 20 heroes mansion to occupy oases.

Do heroes level up faster than before?

On Travian 4 the amount of experience needed before a hero increases in level has been greatly reduced and because of adventures more experience is available. So yes heroes level up significantly faster than in previous versions.

What makes the heroes of different tribes different?
Each tribal hero has two main factors that make them different to the other tribe's heroes. The main one is the weapons they can hold, there are five unique weapons for each tribe which only heroes of that tribe can hold. The second difference is the unique ability of that hero. These unique abilities are:

Roman Hero: Strength increase by 100 for each point instead of 80!
Teuton Hero: When hero is sent on a raid the raid gets 20% cranny dip!
Gaul Hero: When mounted they get +5 speed (+10 on Speed)

How long does a hero take to revive?

The amount of time a hero takes to revive is (level of the hero + 1) hours and is capped at 24 hours (12 hours on a speed server). The cost of reviving a hero is also capped.

Can my hero items be stolen/lost/plunder/given away?

In short hero items cannot be taken or lost in any circumstances. However you can sell your items at auction but there is no way to restrict who your items can be sold to.

What does stackable for items mean?

Stackable means you can have multiple units of that item in one tile space in your inventory and use more than one at once. For example because cages are stackable you are able to equip as many cages as you wish to your hero at one time, however for something like helmets which aren't stackable you are only able to use one at a time.

When do the higher tier appear?

Item Tier Dates

Level 1 - Start to day 75
Level 2 - Days 75 to 165
Level 3 - Day 165 onwards

Day amounts are for 1x speed.

How much Crop does my hero consume?

All heroes consume 6 crop per hour.

An attack came in but my hero didn't defend, why?

[I]In this situation you need to check that you haven't selected the 'Hero will not defend' option on the hero page, if this is checked your hero will not defend against attacks and will not gain experience.[/I

Which Animals are the best to capture?

All animals offer different defence against cavalry and infantary so it's a personal choice which you prefer to capture but to make it easier to decide I've included the statistics for each animal:
